A full-page review of Eduardo Chillida: Convergence, an exhibition at The San Diego Museum of Art curated by Art History doctoral alumna Rachel Jans, has been published in the Wall Street Journal. The Journal’s Eric Gibson considers Rachel’s show "a revelatory retrospective on the Spanish artist, whose work pulses with the power of the natural world and his own heritage.” You can read the full article here.
In her role as a curator of modern and contemporary art at San Diego’s museum, Rachel has started hosting UChicago College-sponsored interns and become a valued mentor to our undergraduates, most recently sophomore Tianhe Chen.
