As a UChicago student you may access Student Loans to assist in satisfying your Student Account charges. Student loans are applied for and processed by your local Financial Aid Office. All loans usually require a separate application and sometimes an additional credit application. All loans also require you to complete a promissory note before the funds may be released and applied to your Student Account. If you wish to utilize Student Loans to satisfy your Student Account balance, we recommend you begin the application process no later than 60 days before your Student Account charges are due for a given quarter. Please contact your local Financial Aid Office listed below to begin the process.
