## Biography

Ian Bryce Jones is a Lecturer 2 in Cinema and Media Studies and Media Arts and Design, where he offers courses in popular genre, narrative structure, and comparative media analysis of videogames, cinema, and electronic literature. Ian completed his PhD in Cinema and Media Studies at The University of Chicago and has worked as a video editor and grant writer in addition to teaching across a breadth of learning levels in media analysis, video production, educational game design, and theatre. His courses combine historical and philosophical examinations of media with hands-on production.
