# Admitted Student Open House
**Congratulations on your admission to the University of Maryland! Now is the time to explore what life as a Terp is all about at an Admitted Student Open House.**
**\**As an admitted student, we invite you to join us at one of our Admitted Student Open Houses. We’ll be hosting two on-campus and one virtually. Registration is required and space is limited for our on-campus events.\
Throughout the day you’ll learn more about your admitted major/college and any special programs you may have been invited to. Attendees will also have a chance to meet faculty, staff and current UMD students. As well as explore unique student experiences, take a tour of campus, and learn more about campus resources.\
## On-Campus Admitted Student Open Houses
- Saturday, March 7
- Friday, April 10
## Virtual Admitted Student Open House
- **Thursday, April 23**
If you are unable to attend an Admitted Student Open House but still want to visit the University of Maryland’s campus, we encourage you to review our [calendar](https://admissions.umd.edu/calendar?date=today&layout=list&audience=admitted-enrolled) for other admitted student focused events, such as Next Stop Maryland daily visit options and academic program specific events.\
To cancel your registration, please email visit@umd.edu with the subject line "Registration Cancellation" and include your name and event date in the body of the email.
## Registration & Schedule at a Glance
*For special accommodations or services for deaf or hearing-impaired visitors, please email us **at least ten business days** in advance of the event date. Emails can be sent to visit@umd.edu using the subject line "Special Accommodations for Admitted Student Open House".*

HOW TO REGISTER
**On-Campus:**
1. In order to register for an on-campus Admitted Student Open House, you will need to activate your [Directory ID](https://identity.umd.edu/) and set up [Multi-Factor Authentication](https://it.umd.edu/MFA).
2. Visit the on-campus Admitted Student Open House registration link when it becomes available and select an available date/time from the drop down menu.
1. Guests can only register for one on-campus date as space is limited. If your preferred date does not appear on the registration form, that date is currently at capacity. As cancellations are processed, spaces may become available.
3. Complete the registration form and submit. A confirmation will be sent to the registered attendee’s email address after completing the form. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive one.
4. A few days prior to the event, a reminder with important details about your visit will be sent to the email address you registered with.
**Virtual:**

2. Visit the virtual Admitted Student Open House registration link.
3. Complete the registration form and submit.
4. Prior to the event, a reminder with important details about the program will be sent to the registered attendees email address.
