GIMS (Graduate Information Management System) enables graduate students, faculty, and staff to track degree programs, supervisory committee assignments, graduate faculty status, and all key milestones in a graduate student's progress at the University of Florida.
GIMS works in sync with the campus-wide Student Information System (SIS) within myUFL. Academic units now change majors, degree programs, minors, concentrations, and other degree attributes in SIS, and those updates display in GIMS in about one hour.
Graduate students: GIMS help you keep track of your own data. If you notice any errors in your GIMS record, contact your degree program's graduate coordinator or staffer for help. GIMS is where you also register for workshops and events hosted by the UF Graduate School.
Administrators, faculty, and staff: To get GIMS access in line with your job duties, have an existing GIMS user in your unit submit a GIMS access request for you within GIMS.
