About IA Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is also known as a student’s budget. IA student budgets will consist of costs associated with both the Spring and Summer terms. Student budgets can only include costs of attendance for the individual student. Additional living allowances for married students or students with children are not included. A standard child care allowance, however, may be included — depending on the ages of the student’s children.

Students who wish to pursue Study Abroad programs or attend another university during the Fall semester are strongly encouraged to speak with a financial aid advisor to discuss their financial aid options.

Budgets are based on a two-semester academic year and vary according to academic classification and residency status. Find out more about how UF budgets are calculated.
