Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society

Description

The Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society is named for Dr. Edward Alexander Bouchet (1852-1918, pictured above), a Ph.D.  in Physics, from Yale University in 1876. It recognizes doctoral students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, alumni, and others who embody the values of scholarship, leadership, character, service, and advocacy by which Bouchet lived and worked as a scholar, educator, and physicist. The Bouchet Graduate Honor Society seeks to develop a network of preeminent scholars who exemplify academic and personal excellence, foster environments of support, and serve as examples of scholarship, leadership, character, service, and advocacy. Details about the society can be found here.

Graduate students who have reached candidacy, completed their qualifying exams, oral exams, qualifying papers, or equivalent prior to submitting the application can apply.
