## Grinter Fellowship
##### Description
The **Grinter Fellowship** — named, like the University of Florida Graduate School’s home base of [Grinter Hall](https://graduateschool.ufl.edu/about/grad/), in honor of the late **Dr. Linton Elias Grinter** (UF Graduate Dean and Director of Research from 1952 to 1969, pictured left) — is available as an added incentive for recruiting new, truly exceptional Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Fine Arts students to UF.
##### Details
- This fellowship includes a stipend ranging from $2,000 to $4,000.
- Funding is for up to three years (for Doctor of Philosophy students) or two years (for Master of Fine Arts students).
- Continued funding beyond the first year hinges on satisfactory academic performance with at least a 3.0 overall grade point average.
