Resources for graduate student well-being

Health & Well-Being

RecSports

RecSports has many resources to aid in your physical fitness goals including recreation centers, group fitness classes, nutrition counseling, and access to Lake Wauburg.

CARE

Campus Assistance & Resources for Empowerment (CARE) provides connection, support, and guidance for students as they navigate anticipated transitions and unexpected events.

GradCare

GradCare serves as your convenient first stop to cut through barriers, pinpoint your predicament, and put you in touch with pertinent sources of help finding solutions to scholastic, administrative, health, housing, food supply, or other problems that might seem daunting for Grad Gators.

Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC)

The UF CWC provides short-term individual counseling, online workshops, graduate student support groups, and more.

GatorWell

GatorWell is the health promotion department that assists students in making behavioral changes to enhance all dimensions of well-being and support academic success.

Student Health Care Center (SHCC)

For physical health concerns, visit the SHCC in the infirmary building at 2140 Stadium Rd on campus. The SHCC offers x-rays, lab results, a women’s health clinic, and a pharmacy that can bill over-the-counter medications and prescriptions to your student account.

U Matter, We Care

This resource hub provides helpful information for any concern you may have personally or academically.

Disability Resource Center (DRC)

The UF DRC aids students with disabilities (physical, learning, sensory, and/or psychological) to succeed by providing class accommodations, assistive technology, and more.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Office

If you are living with a disability (physical, learning, sensory, and/or psychological), the ADA Office may help in providing accommodations for work (including as an RA/TA) per requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Title IX Compliance Office

The Title IX Compliance Office provides support to anyone affected by sexual misconduct, discrimination or violence. We connect Gators to supportive resources, respond to reports, conduct investigations, coordinate resolutions, and lead campus-wide violence prevention and Title IX efforts.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP offers students who are also university employees (research or teaching assistantships) up to 6 free counseling sessions each year and hosts helpful guides on various topics for mental wellness.
