Student and one parent should individually obtain an FSA ID using https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/. Use the FSA ID/PIN to electronically sign the FAFSA.

Students can complete and submit their 2025-26 FAFSA as early as possible when the FAFSA becomes available. Although you must be accepted for enrollment at UF before you are considered for financial aid, you should apply for aid before being admitted.
Begin searching for outside scholarships, using SFA’s Scholarship Search Resources.
Begin requesting letters of recommendation for scholarship applications.

Students can begin looking for on-campus jobs through jobs.ufl.edu.
Financial aid funds begin disbursing toward student account charges. Funds will not disburse if students have not completed all requirements. Check your aid status on ONE.UF..
