**How a Master’s in Information Systems shaped one alumnus’s path**.
In an article published by *Business Because* on Nov. 28th, readers discover the unusual journey of **Didier Schwarz**, a graduate of the Master’s in Information Systems at HEC Lausanne, who steered his career in an unexpected direction: into the world of artistic creation.
Drawing on the skills he developed at HEC — project management, idea structuring, collaboration, technological awareness, and data-driven thinking — he co-founded **Iori Ottmann**, a studio that transforms public spaces into interactive and immersive experiences.
Today, the studio is driving two flagship projects: a modular and mobile installation created with architect **Shigeru Ban**, inviting audiences to reflect on water, time, and environmental change; and an **AI-powered interactive digital mirror** that reshapes one’s perception of self and space in real time.\
This blend of creativity, technology, and spatial exploration illustrates how a management education can open the door to bold, unconventional, and deeply innovative career paths.
