## FUNDING

## Raman Charpak Fellowship

The Raman-Charpak Fellowship is a flagship programme for Indo-French researchers mobility implemented by the Indo-French Centre for Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA) and is jointly funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and the French Institute in India (IFI), French Embassy in India, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Government of France.

It aims at fostering mobility of highly qualified Indian & French PhD and French Master’s students between the two countries for a duration of 2 to 6 months in order to broaden the scope and depth of future engagements in Science, Technology and Innovation.

## ASEAN-INDIA RESEARCH TRAINING FELLOWSHIP (AI-RTF)

To support and facilitate mobility among talented young researchers of
ASEAN MS, India and ASEAN instituted the scheme ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF) Scheme for ASEAN young researchers to work at any of the Indian research/ academic Institution
The total budget of AISTDF is an equivalent amount of 5 Million USD in INR.
The AIRTF scheme is a fellowship scheme to promote the mobility of scientists and researchers from the ASEAN-Member Countries to India and provide them
opportunity to work at Indian R&D/ academic institutions to upgrade their research skills and expertise
5 Fellowships have been allocated for India for a period of two to six months

## Asoke Deysarkar International Program (ADSIP)

After the grand success of the Reciprocal Student Exchange Program (SEP), IITKGP proudly presents the Asoke Deysarkar International Program(ADSIP).
Funded by our distinguished alumnus Dr. Asoke Dey Sarkar, we invite full-time students and research scholars from the SAARC nations
to undertake course work or engage in research activity at the most reputed technical institute in India.
Students are free to spend a summer/winter/ or an entire semester to study, work on a research project,
collaborate with our global partners, and experience this unique country, all living and travel expenses paid.

## DAAD

The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), as a publicly funded, self-governing organisation of the institutions of
higher education in Germany, promotes international academic exchange as well as educational co-operation with developing

## Fulbright Scholarship

The Fulbright Program is administered by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State. The
Fulbright Program awards approximately 8,000 grants annually. Roughly 1,600 U.S. students, 4,000 foreign students, 1,200 U.S. scholars,
and 900 visiting scholars receive awards, in addition to several hundred teachers and professionals. For more information refer to

## Research Training Fellowship for Developing Country Scientists (RTF-DCS)

The 'Research Training Fellowship for Developing Country Scientists (RTF-DCS)' program managed and implemented by
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), New Delhi provides an opportunity to young researchers of the developing countries for their capacity building in science and technology through their affiliation with premier academic and research institutions in India to carry out short-term research work. Under the programme,
full financial support is provided to the research fellows for their international travel, subsistence allowance,
research contingency, domestic travel in India, etc. Sixty (60) scientists and researchers from the developing countries will be selected this year under the RTF-DCS Scheme to get affiliated with Indian academic and R&D institutions for six months.For more information refer to

## GCRF

The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) is a 5-year £1.5Bn fund and a key component in the delivery of the UK Aid
Strategy: Tackling Global Challenges in the National Interest.

## ITEC Scholarship

Every year, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India conducts training courses under the Indian Technical and Economic
Cooperation (ITEC) Programme. The Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg has been nominating Russian nationals for various courses
in India under the ITEC programme over the past several years. For more information refer to

## IUSSTF

The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the
United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not for profit society that promotes and catalyzes Indo-US bilateral
collaborations in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry.
