# Dean's Message

Dear Corporate Partners,

I extend my profound gratitude to each of you for unwaveringly placing your trust in the Vinod Gupta
School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. It is both an honor and privilege to introduce the distinguished
2023-25 cohort of our flagship Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Established in 1993, VGSoM stands as the pioneering B-School within the IIT ecosystem, embodying an
entrepreneurial and research-driven ethos. This academic setting empowers students to cultivate and
refine their creative ideas under the expert guidance of our accomplished faculty and dedicated alumni.
Our commitment to excellence is evidenced by VGSoM ranking within the top fifteen in the NIRF 2023
rankings and among the first ten in India according to the QS Rankings 2023.

Vinod Gupta School of Management is steadfastly dedicated to providing students with a highly
intellectual and challenging environment, equipping them to navigate intricate business landscapes. Our
MBA curriculum, seamlessly integrating the enduring strengths of IIT in technical education with
contemporary management practices, has gained national recognition for its excellence. Through
immersive live projects and case studies, our students cultivate robust problem-solving and decision
making capabilities.

The MBA program at VGSoM offers a specialized focus on General Management, providing students
with a diverse array of electives in domains of Analytics, Operations, Sales and Marketing, Finance,
Human Resources, and Strategy & General Management. We actively encourage student participation in
co-curricular activities and corporate competitions to augment their practical learning experiences.
I extend a formal invitation to engage with our campus activities during the 2023-25 Corporate Connect
season. This provides a unique opportunity to interface with a cohort of adept young business
professionals, poised to address global business challenges and make substantial contributions to
society. I am confident that our students possess the requisite qualities to assume leadership positions
within the industry, making them invaluable additions to recruiting firms.
