## Research Projects/Work - Project MANAUTA (2019-2021): Conceived and executed in collaboration with the Darjeeling government administration and local NGOs, Project MANAUTA was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide essential mental health care and support services to affected communities. Seminars, Presentations & Workshops - **Paper Presentation at National Law University (2019):** Presented "Dichotomy of Mental Health: A Qualitative Study to Explore and Compare the Stages of Grief with the Traditional Practices of a Tribal Community (Kirati) of Darjeeling," examining traditional grief practices within the Kirati community. - **Workshop on Work-Life Balance for Paramilitary Forces (2020):** Designed and conducted a recurring workshop for paramilitary forces stationed in high-risk areas in Northeast India, focusing on practical strategies for achieving work-life balance amidst challenging deployments. - **Alcohol and Mental Health Awareness Model for Rural Nagaland:** In collaboration with TISS and The HANS Foundation, developed a model to raise awareness on the impact of alcohol use on mental health. This initiative served the community of Chuchuyimlang and surrounding rural areas in Nagaland. - **Resource Person at IIT Delhi:** Delivered a talk for the Department of Management Studies titled "Mental Health and Academic Performance," highlighting strategies to manage academic stress and improve mental well-being among students. - Organizing member for understanding and treating depression, by World Health Organisation (WHO) on World mental health day 2018. Professional Interest - Adolescent Mental Health and Counselling - Group and Individual Counselling - Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Counselling Awards - Secured second position for the original paper, *"Dichotomy of Mental Health: A Qualitative Study to Explore and Compare the Stages of Grief with the Traditional Practices of a Tribal Community (Kirati) of Darjeeling."* - Recognized with a Social Service Award for contributions to mental health care and support in Darjeeling.
