Discover TU Dresden

With 119 degree programs it covers all academic disciplines. The spectrum stretches from architecture to German studies and dentistry. Around 29,000 students are currently studying to obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree, a Diplom or complete the state examination. International dual degrees are available for selected subjects.

TU Dresden puts a great emphasis on internationality. Each year, students from over 128 countries choose to study at TU Dresden. Additionally, the university provides its students with diverse opportunities to take part in exchange programs in order to gather practical experience abroad. Through a comprehensive language acquisition programs students are well prepared for their stay abroad.

The TUD Dresden University of Technology is one of eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany.

Studying at TU Dresden

Studying at the TUD means studying at a university of excellence and in one of the most liveable and beautiful cities in Germany. The TUD's success factors include an interdisciplinary education, the early involvement of students in current research projects and a strong practical orientation. The centrally located campus combines historical architecture with modern new buildings - embedded in spacious green areas and in close proximity to Dresden's lively city centre.
