Admission requirements

Applicants are required to have completed a first university degree recognized in Germany and must have at least one year’s experience in a profession related to the degree program.

German language requirements

International applicants and German applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification are kindly advised to read the requirements for German-language courses.

Notes on the application process

If, at the time of application, proof of the first degree qualifying the applicant for a profession is not yet available, the application will be considered under the precondition that 80% of the credit points attainable for the degree have already been achieved based on completed module examinations or the final thesis and the colloquium (if applicable). A certification from the awarding institute of higher education (examination office) serves as proof of the above-mentioned academic achievements. General information about the degree program

This degree program comprises modules to develop students’ academic and methodological knowledge and to convey practice-oriented qualifications related to work in professional training and continuing education as well as personnel development. The main objective is to provide students with the skills they need to plan and design academically sound, regionally-specific professional training and continuing education as well as company-related personnel development.

Study contents

The program is organized in modules. It comprises nine compulsory modules and one compulsory module with elective compulsory elements that students can combine to choose their concentration. Occupational fields

This program prepares students for careers in (continuing) educational institutions, universities and research facilities, public bodies, planning and consulting firms, human resources and education departments at commercial enterprises, as well as domestic and international organizations dedicated to human resources development on a regional or national scale.
