The ServiceCenterStudium is your central point of contact for all questions relating to studying at TU Dresden. Our team will provide you with expert support from choosing and applying for your degree course to starting your studies and successfully completing your degree. We will advise you on a wide range of topics and, if necessary, refer you to the relevant service and advice centers in a targeted manner. Our aim is to provide you with the best possible guidance and support at every stage of your studies. You are also welcome to use our advice compass for your concerns.

You can reach the ServiceCenterStudium via the service hotline or in person at the Servicepoint. Your questions will be answered in German and English. However, we ask for your understanding if the answer to a question cannot be found in the mailbox the very next day - our ticket system guarantees that no question is lost.
The SCS Service Point is located in the entrance area of the Fritz Foerster Building (FOE). There you can get answers to your questions about studying, support with questions about the Campuscard and hand in forms and documents.

Handling of personal data
Sound advice is the foundation for successful studies. To offer you the best service possible, we need your enrollment number / application number and your degree program when you phone or email us. TU Dresden students are kindly asked to use their TUD email address when they contact us. For inquiries at the SCS Service Point, please have your Campuscard or an identity document ready.

Offene Sprechstunden der Berufsberatung der Agentur für Arbeit
Jeden Montag (nur während der Vorlesungszeit) in der Zeit von 09.00 bis 12.00 Uhr findet direkt beim Servicepoint des ServiceCenterStudiums, Fritz-Foerster-Bau, im Raum E40C die Berufsbertung der Agentur für Arbeit statt. Die Beratung erfolgt zu den Themen: Berufswahl, Neuorientierung nach Studienabbruch, Bildungswege in Deutschland, Arbeitsmarkteinstieg, Karriereplanung, finanzielle Hilfen

Campuscard as ID
You can identify yourself with the Campuscard at TU Dresden events with limited admission, e.g. when taking an exam, at university sporting events, and at internal university elections. In addition, the Campuscard serves as proof of your student status with offices outside the university. Campuscard as semester ticket
The Campuscard does not serve as proof of your semester ticket. However, since the winter semester 2024-25, you can retrieve your semester ticket in digital form via the Campuscard portal.
