### Purpose of the processing
Processing in Matomo is carried out to analyze usage behavior in order to optimize our website in terms of technology and content. The collected data helps us to identify errors, improve content, and increase user-friendliness.
### Collected data
When you vist the website, a cookie is created for the language settings and stored on the end device.
Matomo only processes the following data (technical information):
- anonymized IP address,
- browser identification,
- language settings,
- timestamp (time of page view),
- page URL (page viewed),
- referrer URL (previous page),
- user agent.
### Storage period
The cookie for the language setting is only valid for the current session. This means that the cookie is deleted from the end device when the browser is closed.
The individual data in Matomo is stored for 180 days, with the IP address being anonymized. No personal references can be made from this technical information.
### Legal basis
#### End device access in accordance with § 25 para. 2 TDDDG (without consent)
In our configuration, Matomo does not use any cookies and does not store any information on your end device. However, certain technical information is read from your device which:
- is absolutely necessary for the provision of our telemedia service (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG) or
- is necessary for the transmission of communication (§ 25 para. 2 no. 1 TDDDG).
The cookie for the language selection is stored on your device in accordance with § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG.
#### Processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR
The subsequent processing of the data in Matomo is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR in conjunction with § 3 para. 1 SächsDSDG.
### Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the following rights:
- **Right to information** (Art. 15 GDPR)
- **Right to rectification** (Art. 16 GDPR)
- **Right to erasure**, provided that the legal requirements are met (Art. 17 GDPR)
- **Right to restriction of processing** (Art. 18 GDPR)
- **Right to lodge a complaint** with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
