The technology platform has several core facilities that provide access to state-of-the-art research equipment and offer specialized services based on the expertise of the CMCB research groups. Three Research Dimensions at B CUBE
- BioProspecting is applied to identify natural phenomena which answer unmet technological needs
- BioNano Tools are developed and applied to characterize biological structures and processes at the molecular level, and
- Biomimetic Materials are designed and synthesized that supersede natural biomaterials and exhibit properties exceeding current technologies.
By learning from natural phenomena and translating this knowledge into technological solutions, B CUBE is building bridges between Life Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
