The Research Experience Program is an exclusive, competitive and excellent program for selected [partner universities](https://tu-dresden.de/internationales/foerdermoeglichkeiten/mobilitaetsprogramme-und-foerderung-im-studium/copy_of_REP/partneruniversitaeten). It offers senior undergraduate and graduate students from**Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA** the opportunity to gain cutting-edge research experience in a wide variety of [scientific fields](https://tu-dresden.de/internationales/foerdermoeglichkeiten/mobilitaetsprogramme-und-foerderung-im-studium/copy_of_REP/research-areas). Participants will work with doctoral students, scientists or professors as part of ongoing research projects at TU Dresden.

### Program overview

- **Multiple disciplines possible**: Engineering, Science, Arts and Social Science
- **Language**: English
- **Flexible timing:** from 4 to 12 weeks (preferred between mid-May and mid-August)

- [**Application process**](https://tu-dresden.de/internationales/foerdermoeglichkeiten/mobilitaetsprogramme-und-foerderung-im-studium/copy_of_REP/bewerbungsablauf?set_language=en): Students apply directly to our partner universities. These universities send a shortlist of their most promising applicants to the International Office by December/January each year. In February/March, the International Office contacts the participating departments with suitable candidates. The departments then make the final decision on whether they wish to supervise the students.
