- Both [Computational Science](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/cpradmissions/) (CDS-CP) and [Computer and Data Systems](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/csradmissions/) (CDS-CS) streams of CDS participate in PMRF scheme
- Applications for PMRF have to be submitted separately at the [PMRF online portal](https://pmrf.in/)
- To join [Computational Science](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/cpradmissions/) (CDS-CP[)](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/cpradmissions/) PhD program under PMRF, please select “*Interdisciplinary Programs in Science and Engineering*” discipline as one of your preferences and choose “*Computational Science, IISc Bangalore*” as the institute at the [PMRF online portal](https://pmrf.in/)
- To join [Computer and Data Systems](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/csradmissions/) (CDS-CS) PhD program under PMRF, please select “*Computer Science*” discipline as one of your preferences and choose “*Computer and Data Systems, IISc Bangalore*” as the institute at the [PMRF online portal](https://pmrf.in/)
- *Note that Computational Science (CD-CP)* and *Computer and Data Systems (CD-CS)* research admissions are conducted ***separately.*** Candidates who got select in one stream will not be allowed change to the other.
- The candidates applying for PMRF are **encouraged** to apply to [regular Ph.D. admissions of CDS/IISc](https://cds.iisc.ac.in/admissions/research-degrees/) as well to increase their chances of admission into the Ph.D. programme of the department.
