B.Tech Admissions 2026–27
B.Tech admissions at IISc for 2026–27 will be conducted through JoSAA 2026 only. Candidates must register and participate in counselling on the official JoSAA portal. No separate IISc application is required.
New B.Tech Programmes (2026–27)
IISc announces the launch of three new B.Tech programmes from the Academic Year 2026–27, along with the existing Mathematics and Computing programme:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanics and Computing
- Materials Science and Engineering
These programmes integrate strong theoretical foundations, hands-on research exposure, and industry-relevant skills, enabling graduates to secure high-quality placements in leading technology organisations and pursue research or higher studies.
