MTech (Artificial Intelligence)
The two-year MTech in Artificial Intelligence aims to fill the critical needs of the industry and to fill the gap in the availability of high-end AI scientists and engineers. The vision of the MTech (AI) programme is to impart rigorous training in the foundations and deep technology of artificial intelligence to produce graduates who can become world leaders in AI and lead India’s march towards leadership in this important area. This programme is offered by the Kotak IISc AI-ML Centre (KIAC).

Admissions
There are two modes of admission to MTech (AI), either through GATE or through CFTI.
GATE mode of entry: Eligible GATE papers– CS, DA, EC, EE. Eligible qualifying degrees: BE/BTech or equivalent, MSc (2-year and integrated), 4-year BS or BS (Research) or equivalent, MMath and MStat.
CFTI mode of entry: BE/BTech/4-years BS or BS (Research) or equivalent, in any branch of science/engineering from a CFTI with a CGPA of 8.0 or above.
In both modes of entry, shortlisted candidates will need to appear for an in-person written test, details of which will be communicated at an appropriate time.
