Types of courses
Are you familiar with the different types of courses offered at the University of Ottawa? Whether you are a teacher or a student, understanding the available teaching modalities is crucial for optimizing the learning experience. Our university offers diverse course formats tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. These formats include traditional classroom courses, fully online courses (either synchronous via platforms like Zoom or asynchronous using tools such as the Virtual Campus-Brightspace), and hybrid courses, which have been added since the fall of 2023.\
