### General eligibility criteria for an admission scholarship or bursary

- Meet the admission requirements of the program you have been admitted to;
- Be enrolled full time for the first time in a university undergraduate program;
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or have protected person or refugee status (unless otherwise indicated)

Required averages to keep or renew a scholarship are rounded to two decimal places. For example, a student with an average of 8.49 would not be eligible for a scholarship that requires an 8.50 average. See academic [regulation A-3.3](https://www.uottawa.ca/about-us/leadership-governance/policies-regulations/a-3-grading-system) for more information on calculating averages.

Note: Mature applicants and university transfers are not eligible for certain admission scholarships. Please review eligibility criteria carefully.
