Founded in October 2009, the Teaching Assistant School of Peking University has successfully rolled out 10 sessions, and trained more than 4,300 students. To date, 199 teaching assistants have obtained the certificate of completion, including 116 certificates of the teaching ability category and 83 of the teaching resources category. In the past five years, teaching assistants from 27 faculties and departments of the main campus of PKU have participated in training program. Most of them were from the College of Engineering, the School of Physics, School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, the School of Mathematical Sciences and the Department of PE.

*Curriculum of Teaching Assistant School*
The Teaching Assistant School provides two categories of courses: teaching courses and resource production courses. The teaching courses are mainly intended to help teaching assistants master relevant teaching methods and skills, while resource production courses focus on improving their media design and development capabilities. Teaching assistants who have completed the relevant courses may obtain a certificate of completion from the Teaching Assistant School.
