WE DO NOT ACCEPT TOEFL ITP\ WE DO NOT ACCEPT IELTS INDICATOR

• • • TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) with a minimum score of 95; OR
  • IELTS with a minimum score of 7.0 (Send Score Report via IELTS to Balac Code : 190462); OR
  • CU-TEP with a minimum score of 90. (score reports issued by the Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center. Applicants must select “ส่งคะแนนไปยังหลักสูตร/คณะ” (Send scores to Faculty/Program)); OR
  • DET (Duolingo English Test) with a minimum score of 130 (Send Score Report via DET to Balac :Chulalongkorn University BALAC, Faculty of Arts)

• Aptitude tests

• • • SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 480 (Send Score Report via College Board to Balac Code : 6902) OR
  • CU-AAT (Verbal) with a minimum score of 480 (score reports issued by the Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center. Applicants must select “ส่งคะแนนไปยังหลักสูตร/คณะ” (Send scores to Faculty/Program));OR
  • ACT (English and Reading) with a combined minimum score of 34 (Send Score Report via ACT to Balac Code : 8265)
  • ***** Candidates of this round will also have to undergo interviews (No written examinations).

• *** Eligible candidates must take the written examination administered by the program on April 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Mahachakri Sirindhorn Building, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University.\ Failure to attend the examination as scheduled will be considered a withdrawal of the application.

Application Requirements

1. Applicants do not hold Thai citizenship and have completed high school or passed an equivalent high school standard test or be currently in their final  year of high school (Grade 12 in the US system or Year 13 in the British system).

2. Applicants must achieve the prescribed minimum score in any one of the following English Proficiency tests:

4. All applicants must have a history of good behavior and agree to abide strictly by existing and future University regulations, codes and policies.
