Philosophy
The Master of Architecture Program is a graduate study program for students with a 5-year Bachelor’s degree in architecture, with a strong focus on advanced architectural studies, a broad and in-depth understanding of sciences, in response to the social and technological contexts.
หลักสูตรสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตรมหาบัณฑิตเป็นหลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาสำหรับผู้ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต 5 ปี ที่มุ่งเน้นผลิตบุคคลทางวิชาการขั้นสูงทางสถาปัตยกรรมต้องเปี่ยมด้วยความรู้ ความเข้าใจในศาสตร์ทั้งเชิงกว้างเเละเชิงลึก สามารถผสมผสานองค์ความรู้แบบบูรณาการเข้ากับเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย รวมทั้งบุกเบิก เเสวงหา ทำนุบำรุง และถ่ายทอดความรู้ เพื่อความเจริญของสังคมต่อไป
The Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) Program is a graduate study program for students with a 5-year Bachelor’s degree in architecture. Its objectives are threefold:
- to produce graduates with strong research skills who can integrate architectural knowledge with those from other fields, in response to the various societal needs, especially from institutions of higher learning;
- to expand the body of architectural knowledge to those of the related fields, in response to the social and technological contexts, as well as the current need for Master’s degree graduates; and
- to produce research and academic work, finding solutions for the society at both regional and global levels, in terms of both the architectural profession and the academia.
หลักสูตรสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาสถาปัตยกรรม เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับผู้ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์บัณฑิต (5 ปี) มีวัตถุประสงค์สามประการ คือ
- เพื่อผลิตมหาบัณฑิตที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญการวิจัย มีความสามารถผสานศาสตร์ทางสถาปัตยกรรมกับศาสตร์พื้นฐานที่เกี่ยวเนื่องอันเป็นการสร้างเสริมและพัฒนาบุคลากร เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของหน่วยงานต่างๆโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง สถาบันการศึกษาในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย ทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน
- เพื่อขยายฐานขององค์ความรู้ทางสถาปัตยกรรมไปสู่ศาสตร์เกี่ยวเนื่องอื่นๆ ทั้งทางสายวิชาชีพ สายวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ให้เหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกับสภาพสังคม และภาวะความต้องการมหาบัณฑิตในปัจจุบัน
- เพื่อผลิตผลงานทางวิชาการและการวิจัย เพื่อหาคำตอบในเชิงปฏิบัติทางวิชาการและวิชาชีพให้กับปัญหาของสังคมในระดับภูมิภาคและนานาชาติ
