Transportation engineering
Transportation engineering research covers a variety of topics, including transportation planning and policy, logistics and freight transportation, transportation network system analysis, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), travel behavior analysis and demand modeling, traffic safety, and transportation economics.

Labs and Research Center
Transportation Research Laboratory
Transportation Research Laboratory (TRL) is the university-supported research unit under the Ratchadapisek Research Fund, with annual endowment of 1 million baht. The mission focuses on advancing the excellence in transportation research and strengthening the multi-disciplinary academic activities in the field of transportation. The traffic laboratory possesses various equipment for traffic studies, both conventional and state-of-the-art instruments. Various traffic software packages are available on number of PCs, including simulation and traffic analysis programs. Transportation planning packages is used as a tool for study and research.
