\ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ร่วมงานครบรอบ 20 ปี ADB ฉลองความสำเร็จและความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน\ \ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้เข้าร่วมงานเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 20 ปี ของ Asian Development Bank (ADB) ในโอกาส “ADB TRM 20th Anniversary: From Partnership to Impact – A Prosperous and Sustainable Thailand” ณ สำนักงาน ADB Thailand Resident Mission (ADB TRM) กรุงเทพมหานคร เพื่อร่วมสะท้อนความร่วมมืออันยาวนานระหว่างคณะฯ และ ADB ในการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านโครงการและกิจกรรมความร่วมมือสำคัญที่ได้ดำเนินงานร่วมกันตลอดช่วงที่ผ่านมา\ \ ในงานดังกล่าว รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธี อนันต์สุขสมศรี รองคณบดี ได้เป็นผู้แทนคณะฯ กล่าวในช่วง “Celebrating ADB’s Achievements and Momentum” ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญที่รวบรวมผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน สถาบันการศึกษา องค์กรพัฒนา และพันธมิตรจากหลายภาคส่วน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน พร้อมร่วมสะท้อนบทบาทของ ADB ในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อมของประเทศไทยตลอดสองทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา\ \ หนึ่งในช่วงสำคัญของงานนี้ ได้มีการกล่าวถึงโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำในเมือง (Urban Water Capacity Building Development Program) มีเป้าหมายในการส่งเสริมการแบ่งปันความรู้ และเป็นพื้นที่หารือนโยบาย ระหว่างผู้นำท้องถิ่น นักพัฒนาเมือง นักผังเมือง และผู้เชี่ยวชาญ เพื่อสร้างเครือข่าย เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือ และเตรียมความพร้อมในการแก้ปัญหาด้านน้ำในอนาคต ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในความท้าทายสำคัญของประเทศไทย\ \ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธี อนันต์สุขสมศรี กล่าวว่า “เมืองต่าง ๆ ทั่วโลก รวมถึงประเทศไทย กำลังเผชิญความท้าทายที่รุนแรงขึ้นจากความเสี่ยงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นปัญหาน้ำท่วม คลื่นความร้อน มลพิษ โดยเฉพาะมลพิษทางอากาศ ซึ่งโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำในเมืองนั้นมีบทบาทสำคัญในการรวบรวมผู้นำท้องถิ่น นักผังเมือง และผู้เชี่ยวชาญ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และร่วมกันพัฒนาแนวทางและมาตรการเชิงปฏิบัติ ตามที่ Anouj Mehta, Country Director of ADB Thailand ได้กล่าวเมื่อสักครู่ เราได้ร่วมกันหารือเกี่ยวกับโครงการนี้มาเป็นเวลาหลายเดือน และหวังว่าจะสามารถจัดเวิร์กช็อปในหลายเมืองและหลายภูมิภาคทั่วประเทศไทย โดยมุ่งหวังที่จะเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับประเทศ หน่วยงานท้องถิ่น ภาคธุรกิจ และสถาบันการศึกษา เพื่อพัฒนานโยบายและแผนงานเชิงนวัตกรรม ให้เมืองของเรามีสุขภาวะที่ดีขึ้น และน่าอยู่อย่างยั่งยืนสำหรับคนรุ่นต่อไป”\ \ การเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้ยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ในการสานต่อความร่วมมือกับ ADB เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืนและสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อสังคมในวงกว้างในอนาคต โดยตลอดหลายเดือนที่ผ่านมา ยังได้ร่วมกันพัฒนาโครงการนี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง และขณะนี้กำลังเตรียมขยายผลสู่การจัดเวิร์กช็อปในหลายภูมิภาคทั่วประเทศไทย เพื่อยกระดับความร่วมมือและผลักดันการเปลี่ยนแปลงเชิงปฏิบัติอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม\
Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University Joins “Celebrating ADB’s Achievements and Momentum” to Honor Long-Standing Collaboration\ \ The Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University participated in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The event, titled “ADB TRM 20th Anniversary: From Partnership to Impact – A Prosperous and Sustainable Thailand,” was held at the ADB TRM office in Bangkok. It highlighted the long-standing collaboration between Arch CU and ADB in advancing sustainable urban development through various joint projects and initiatives implemented over the years.\ \ During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Sutee Anantsuksomsri, the Deputy Dean, represented the Faculty and delivered remarks in the session titled "Celebrating ADB’s Achievements and Momentum." This session served as an important platform for representatives from government agencies, the private sector, academic institutions, development organizations, and other key partners to exchange perspectives on sustainable development. It emphasized ADB’s ongoing role in supporting Thailand’s economic, social, and environmental progress over the past two decades.\
"Many cities around the world, including those in Thailand, are facing increasing challenges related to climate risks such as flooding, heat, and pollution, particularly air pollution. The Urban Water Capacity Development Program brings together city leaders, planners, and experts to share knowledge and develop practical strategies and solutions. As Anouj Mehta, Country Director of ADB Thailand mentioned, we have been discussing this initiative for several months, and we hope to organize workshops in various cities and regions throughout Thailand. Our goal is to strengthen collaboration among national government officials, local governments, businesses, and academia.
