With an initial focus on the regulatory issues identified for RRCs, advanced data mining tools will be used for extracting updated audited data of the utilities (generation, transmission, distribution and trading) pertaining to operational, commercial, financial and other regulatory aspects directly from the source servers. The Centre envisages building a database covering identified aspects with the information available in different silos at the ERCs to create a unique value proposition and enhance the regulatory research as well as advocacy.
