The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Chinmay Hegde on 21st October 2024. Prof. Hegde is a faculty in the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering; and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He also collaborates on the NYU Tandon-IIT Kanpur Joint Research Grant with Prof. Pranamesh Chakraborty from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur.\ \ During his visit, Prof. Hegde engaged in a productive meeting with the Dean of International Relations, Prof. Bushra Ateeq, and discussed opportunities for initiating student exchange and strengthening the existing partnership between IITK and NYU. Their conversation focused on collaborative initiatives and strategic goals to deepen the bilateral ties between the two institutions.\ \ We sincerely thank Professor Chinmay Hegde for his visit and for paving the way for this promising collaboration.
