Kathmandu University delegation visits IIT Kanpur to explore academic collaboration

A delegation from Kathmandu University (KU) visited IIT Kanpur on 26 December 2025. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Achyut Prasad Wagle, Vice Chancellor, Kathmandu University, and an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, along with Prof. Dinesh Kafle, Acting Associate Director and Associate Professor at the Kathmandu University School of Arts.

During the visit, the delegation met with Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur; Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations; and Prof. Vimal Kumar from the Department of Economic Sciences. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for faculty exchange, identifying areas of mutual academic interest, and strengthening opportunities for future institutional collaboration.
