We had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Pulickel Ajayan and Ms. Sreya Ghose at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on 7 August. Prof. Ajayan is a faculty in the Departments of Materials Science and Nano Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Chemistry at Rice University. He is fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Ms. Ghose is the Principal Advisor for the Rice Global India Office.

During their visit, they met with Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations at IIT Kanpur, Prof. Ashish Garg, and Prof. Soumyabrata Roy from the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering, IITK to discuss ways of further strengthening the ongoing IITK-Rice partnership.
