In a significant step toward international academic and research partnerships, a delegation from **Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), Thailand** visited **IIT Kanpur** on **March 26, 2025**, to explore research collaborations and academic exchanges. The delegation was led by **Prof. Korrakot Yaibuathat,** Associate Dean and Director of **CM-IES; Dr. Faifan Tantakitti; Prof. Nakorn Tippayawong; and Prof. Watchapon Rojanaratanangkule**.

The delegation was welcomed by **Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, and Prof. Ashish Garg, Head of Sustainable Energy Engineering**. The discussions with the visitors focused on faculty and student exchanges, joint research, and innovation-driven partnerships.

**Lab Visits and Research Insights**

To gain insights into IIT Kanpur’s research, the delegation visited:

- **NCFlexE (National Centre for Flexible Electronics)** – Exploring advancements in flexible electronics and potential collaborations.
- **Flight Laboratory** – Observing research on aerodynamics, UAV development, and experimental aviation.
- **Sustainable Energy Engineering Labs (Diamond Jubilee Block)** – Hosted by **Prof. Ashish Garg**, highlighting research in renewable energy, energy storage, and sustainable engineering solutions.

The visit laid the foundation for future engagements between the two institutions. With a shared vision of academic excellence and technological innovation, both institutions are committed to advancing global knowledge exchange and impactful research partnerships.
