### Kobe University Delegation Visits IIT Kanpur to Strengthen Academic Collaboration

On **13 March 2026**, a delegation from **KOBE University** visited **IIT Kanpur to** further strengthen the existing #collaboration between the two institutions. Both universities already share a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on academic cooperation, joint research, and student exchange #programs. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss new possibilities for #expanding collaboration in research and academic activities.

The **KOBE University** delegation included **Prof. Eri Chatani**, Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science; **Prof. Tetsunari Kimura**, Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science; and **Prof. Tominaga Keisuke**, Molecular Photoscience Research Center. The delegation was welcomed by **Prof. Bushra Ateeq**, Dean of International Relations at IIT Kanpur. During their visit, they were accompanied by **Prof. Amalendu Chandra**, Department of Chemistry, and **Prof. Pratik Sen**, Department of Chemistry and Photonics Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur. The delegation also #explored research laboratories at IIT Kanpur and interacted with faculty members to learn more about ongoing #research and potential future collaboration.
