Tech. programmes commencing from December, 26, 2015 (2015-16-II Semester) in the following departments:    **M. Tech:** Chemical Engineering \* Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Stream only).  **GENERAL INFORMATION:**   **(i)** Reservations (for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PD candidates) shall apply as per Government of India rules.   **(ii)** For Application Form, Reference Letter Form, Information Brochure, Eligibility Criteria, linkages to concerned department and other relevant details visit:    <http://www.iitk.ac.in/doaaold/DOAA/Admisson2015_2/implinks20152.htm>    Click the link of concerned department to get detailed information about department.  **(iii)** Detailed information on PG programmes offered at IIT Kanpur is available at     <http://www.iitk.ac.in/doaaold/pgmanual-02Sep2015.pdf>  **(IV)** Financial aid (Assistantship/Scholarship) will be provided to non-sponsored M.Tech. students, provided they have a valid Gate score.  **(v)** Those employed in an industry or a college/university/institute may apply for admission as a sponsored, external or part-time candidate. There is no provision for online submission of application   forms. - Download the Application Form from:    <http://www.iitk.ac.in/doaaold/DOAA/Admisson2015_2/implinks20152.htm> - The application fee is Rs.400 for General and   OBC candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ST and all PD candidates (including   General and OBC). The application fee is waived for 'Foreign National'   candidates.
