The Office of International Relations (OIR) at IIT Kanpur extended a warm welcome to newly admitted international students on August 12, 2025, for the 2025–26 Semester I session.\ Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, addressed the gathering with an encouraging welcome note along with the Office of Internation Relations Staff.

\ International students from the previous batches, Ms. Chilambwe Malama and Ms. Fransiska Anggun Arumsari delivered an informative presentation about the campus life and shared their personal experiences at IIT Kanpur. They spoke about their academic journey and cultural adaptation on campus.\ \ The event aimed to ensure a smooth transition for international students into their academic journey and social life at IIT Kanpur.
