Visit of Universiti Malaya Professors to IIT Kanpur to explore academic collaborations

On 11th July 2025, Prof. Suhana Binti Mohd Said, Executive Director for Research Management, Deputy Vice-chancellor for Research and Innovation and Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering along with Prof. Mohd Faizul Bin Mohd Sabri¸ Deputy Dean of Research at the Faculty of Engineering and Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malayavisited IIT Kanpur.

They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, and Prof. Mousami Prasad from the Department of Management Sciences (DOMS), IIT Kanpur.

The meeting focused on exploring new opportunities for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions, includingfaculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, and innovation-driven partnerships. This visit opened doors for strengthening ties between IIT Kanpur and Universiti Malaya.
