Chungbuk National University (CBNU), located in Cheongju, South Korea, is a prestigious institution of higher education with a history dating back to its establishment in 1951. It is recognized for its academic excellence and research achievements across various disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, agriculture, and medicine.

We are pleased to inform you that the application for the CBNU G-Cruit Scholarship Program is now open for Universitas Gadjah Mada students and alumni!

*ELIGIBILITY*Prospective Master’s or Ph.D. degree students.

*REQUIRED DOCUMENTS*Please refer directly to the CBNU OIA website for specific required documents (typically including academic transcripts, study plans, and proof of language proficiency).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Apply directly to Chungbuk National University.
Crucial First Step: You must find and connect with a relevant professor or laboratory using the Faculty & Lab Database before applying.
Once a lab connection is established, submit your formal application via the G-Cruit Online Portal.
Please check the CBNU Application Period link for exact dates
The FINAL decision is from Chungbuk National University.

IMPORTANT NOTES

In the meantime, the students are required to keep the hard file of all documents until further notice by the Office of International Affairs.
In case the faculty could not provide the letter of enrollment and nomination during this period, the official nomination through email from the faculty is acceptable. The official nomination could be delivered to head-oia@ugm.ac.id (cc to scholarship@ugm.ac.id)
