Advancing multidisciplinary research and innovation to explore critical health and wellbeing challenges for women in sport and exercise across the life course.
This Research Cluster addresses critical and intersecting female‑specific health and wellbeing issues.
Our work spans the influence of the menstrual cycle on health and performance to the effective engineering and design of sportswear for pregnant and postpartum women.
Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, we progress cross‑cutting research to advance knowledge and drive methodological, conceptual and innovative product development while promoting gender‑equitable progress to enhance the health and wellbeing of women throughout their sport and exercise journeys.
