Our Orienteering Club at Loughborough is perfect for all skill levels seeking fun and challenge in the great outdoors. Whether you're a beginner eager to explore or an experienced navigator aiming to compete, our club offers an exciting blend of adventure, fitness, and strategy.

The Loughborough Students’ Orienteering Club welcomes everyone, from those new to the sport to seasoned runners looking to sharpen their navigation skills. Run by dedicated student volunteers, the club offers a supportive and engaging environment where members can develop both physically and mentally. Weekly training sessions on campus focus on cardio fitness and navigation techniques, preparing members for the demands of orienteering.  \  \ The club provides all necessary equipment, such as maps and compasses, ensuring accessibility for all. Members have the chance to test their skills in local and regional events, fostering a sense of achievement and camaraderie. With a focus on adventure and personal growth, the club creates a vibrant community for all who love the outdoors.

Athletic Union (AU)

Loughborough Students’ Orienteering Club welcomes participants of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced runners, offering a dynamic community for those passionate about outdoor navigation.

The club regularly competes in BUCS and regional competitions, providing opportunities to challenge physical and technical skills. Weekly cardio-focused and navigation-based training sessions, led by dedicated student volunteers, take place on campus, with all equipment provided to ensure accessibility.

The club fosters an inclusive and adventurous environment, making it easy for anyone to join, develop their orienteering skills, and enjoy the thrill of the sport in a supportive community.
