## Hydrogen Production and Release

[Sandie Dann](https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/chemistry/staff/sandie-dann/) is a materials chemist who researches the controlled and safe release of hydrogen from metal hydrides by understanding structure-property relationships.

The current focus is the use of waste materials/recycling processes for hydrogen generation and reactor design for safe hydrolysis/thermolysis of hydrides that meet the DoE requirements for hydrogen storage. Extensive characterisation takes place using local and central facilities.
