Life through a lens

Light lets us see the world around us. With the help of technology, we can see further, smaller, and in ways that our eyes never could. Explore life through a lens where the wonders of physics will help you see the world from a new perspective.

The science of imaging is not just about cameras. It can be used to make better phones and laptops, help us to live and work more sustainably, to stay healthy, and to explore the secrets of the universe.

Sparking curiosity, inspiring minds

We are a team of physicists, passionate about bringing the science of imaging to life. We show how the world around us works, using fun hands-on activities to inspire young people to explore scientific phenomena and support them to explore where a deeper understanding to these subjects might take them.

Our activities are supported by the Institute of Physics and can be adapted for age five and upwards at national science festivals, school visits and community groups.
