As part of our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of aviation and developing future leaders who will deliver the necessary cutting-edge engineering, we’re proud to support 20 exceptional research students over the coming five years.

This initiative represents an exciting new dimension of our long-standing partnership with Rolls-Royce – driving innovation and excellence.

Students will benefit from the world-class academic and research expertise of a Supervisory Team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering knowledge and practice.

They will be based in the [**National Centre for Combustion and Aerothermal Technology**](https://www.lboro.ac.uk/research/nccat/) – the UK's premier facility for pioneering low-emission gas turbine combustion technologies for a range of sectors, including aviation.
