At the National Centre for Combustion and Aerothermal Technology (NCCAT), we’re focused on advancing combustion systems to help the aviation industry reach a net-zero carbon future. Our unique state-of-the-art facility brings together researchers, students, and industry partners to turn breakthrough ideas into practical solutions.\ \ Since 2018, we’ve supported major projects with Rolls-Royce cutting fuel burn, exploring hydrogen fuel technologies, and exploring sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs). NCCAT also supports innovation across automotive, energy, marine, and power generation sectors. We’re open to collaboration and always keen to hear from new partners.
