Where curious minds meet critical thinkers

The Institute of Physics has accredited our undergraduate physics degrees.

Gain practical experience in our state-of-the-art facilities. We’ve invested £2 million in our physics equipment, including cryogenic, semiconductor and optical laboratories.

Our degrees have a common first year, which means you can change specialisms at the end of Stage 1. You can also move from the BSc degree to the MPhys degree before the end of Stage 2.

Our dedicated Transition Officer is available to support all new physics students. This academic staff member will help you transition from school or college to undergraduate study.
