Discounted Deutschlandticket for students

All students in Bavaria are eligible for a discounted Deutschlandticket at a price of 43 euros a month, that can be used for travel on public transport throughout Germany.

Instead of a semester ticket, students at FAU have the option of purchasing a discounted Deutschlandticket. Order it online at shop.vgn.de/meinabo and access it in either the VGN Fahrplan und Tickets” or the “NürnbergMOBIL” app. The ticket can be canceled on a monthly basis.

Free minutes for VAG_Rad bikes

The Deutschlandticket does not only cover the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, regional trains, trams and buses, it also includes 600 free minutes for VAG_Rad bikes and 15 free minutes for VOI electric scooters.
