On June 21st and 22nd, 2024, FAU honored all doctorates, who recently received their PhDs, as well as the jubilarians, who received their doctorates 15, 25, 50 or even 60 years ago during a festive ceremony at the Heinrich-Lades-Halle in Erlangen.

Of course, the legendary joint throw of the graduation caps, which traditionally expresses the joy of what has been achieved, could not be missed. You can get an impression of this in our short video. You will also find a picture gallery on the event homepage.

We warmly welcome all FAU alumni to the FAU Alumni Network and we look forward to exchange with you! The Alumni Management team was at the ceremony on Saturday with our own information stand and we had a lot of fun having great conversations with so many people who are still deeply connected to our Alma Mater.
FAU alumni, who are not yet part of the network, can register free of charge in our FAU Community – the online networking platform for the entire FAU family – and thus not only stay in touch with their FAU family and their FAU, but also enjoy the numerous benefits for alumni.
