# Presented: The University Council of FAU on video

The University Council functions like a supervisory board: It supports FAU with strategic decisions and advises the University during development planning. In addition, it is also involved in selecting members of the Executive Board.

The University Council consists of representatives from academia, culture, business and various professions and the elected members of the Senate.
